Mobile Home Law refers to the set of laws that govern manfactured home ownership in Florida. Primarily, these laws include Chapter 723 of the Florida Statutes, the Mobile Home Act, and Chapter 719, the Co-operative Act.

Mobile Home Law also refers to the practice of law by attorneys who represnt manufactured home owners and  community associations.

Kim Byrd began his professional career working for a large law  firm in New York City that represented large corporations in complex civil litigation against other large corporations.  While he learned a great deal from this experience, Kim recognized that serving the interest of large corporate clients did not fulfill his passion for the practice of law.

Kim relocated to his home state of Florida and began working with the Federation of Manufactured Homeowners of Florida, Inc., as he prepared for the Florida Bar exam. Kim answered the legal help line, and in so doing learned a great deal about the laws affecting manufactured / mobile homeowners. 

By providing valuable information concerning the legal rights of individuals and associations, Kim was reminded of the passion that lead him to become an attorney: to provide vigorous representation to individuals whose rights are at risk.
